I REMEMBER

This video reminds me of the cold and long winter in Norway.

New York band who just released their second album “Odd Blood” (feb 2010).

This album is probably a bit more commercial than the first album “All Hour Cymbals” which they released in 2007. They describe their music as “Middle Eastern-Psych-snap-gospel”.

PECAN AND BLUE CHEESE BREAD

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

These tins i re-use from my chopped tomatoes tins.

The bread stays super moist when you bake in these, and they look nice and rustic.

Use a rolling pin and roll the dough until it’s flat and rectangle.

Small mouthfuls of sweets

IMG_1014

So simply, and it’s done in a few minutes

  • 2 bananas, cut into cubes, 2cm long
  • honey
  • two handfuls of macadamias nut ( finely chopped)
  • Small party sticks

Roll the banana cubes in honey first, and then macadamias. Use your hands to squeeze the macadamias into the banana. Place them on a tray and bake in oven for about five min on 180 Celsius. If they’re in for too long they will get brown. Put them on a serving plate with the party stickers and they are ready.
