Radar detector
This guy loves to dance! Quite entertaining to watch. He’s an eccentric New Yorker, who just released his self titled album in April 2010. It’s funky, electronic and poppy.

I seem to be drawn to Swedish music at the moment. I should probably instead promote Norwegian bands. Well I’m open for suggestions if any one has any! And yes I do love Røyksopp, Whitest Boy Alive and Kings of Convenience.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. The sun has been shining in Oslo, and spring is there. And in Sydney we’ve had some nice autumn days with temperatures reaching 29 degrees. Can’t complain about that!
Those Dancing Shoes, a swedish pop band. Happy, catchy tunes.
A happy song to start the day with!
Another good band, signed up to french record label Kitsun’e Music. Two Door Cinema Club are an electropop band from Northern Ireland. Their album “Tourist History” was released March 2010.
A small sneak view on some of their music videos from their latest album “Plastic Beach”
These are just short trailers, you can watch them in full length at youtube.
The Gorillaz are back!
It has been five years since they released “Demon Days”, and now they are back with “Plastic Beach”. Both the albums and their first album “Gorillaz” are all three very different and experimental albums. They got fictional characters, but just two actual members which is Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
I REMEMBER
This video reminds me of the cold and long winter in Norway.
New York band who just released their second album “Odd Blood” (feb 2010).
This album is probably a bit more commercial than the first album “All Hour Cymbals” which they released in 2007. They describe their music as “Middle Eastern-Psych-snap-gospel”.
Lykke Li, or Timotej Zachrisson. She’s from Sweden and released her debut album “Youth Novels” in 2008. “Youth Novels” was produced by Bjorn Yttling from The trio ” Peter, Bjorn and John”.
This music video is done by La Blogotheque
La Blogotheque is founded by a French movie maker who wonted to share music in a different way. The short clips are somewhere in between a live performance and a music video. They are filmed with mostly one take on the recordings similar to the Dogma concept.
A band based in Germany, Berlin. Their lead singer is Erlend Øye, from the Norwegian band “Kings Of Convenience”. They released their first album “Dreams” in 2006 and theirs second album, “Rules” in 2009. If you like Erlend’s voice check out Kings Of Convenience, Erlend Øye’s DJ kicks and his solo album, Unrest.
English band that’s been around since 2007. Their debut album is “Lungs”, and they are recording the second album now. Hopefully they will release it soon.
Laneway Festival, Sydney University.
A festival without teenagers on drugs and glow sticks!
Mumford & sons, XX, Florence And The Machine, Daniel Johnston, Black Lips And so many more great bands.

Lucy! love the outfit!

Finally theses photos came back to me. Love shooting with film, but not many places develop film anymore, and specially not when it’s a positive film that needs cross processing. This one i sent to vision graphics in North Sydney. I wrote the address wrong so it took about a week and half to travel to one side of the city to the other. I thought I never would see the photos again, so was relieved when they finally got to the right place. The positive film which had an ISO on 200 came out with strong contrast, and clear colours. But a few came out to dark as well, be careful with shady places when using this type of film. I Used a Golden Half Camera.
