Cafe Laundromat

Underhaugsveien 2 0354 Oslo -phone  21 38 36 29

This cafe was one of the first cafes I discovered when moving back to Oslo. I have been planning for a while taking some photos there and finally this morning I did. I love the interior and feel of this place. With all the bookshelves (4000 books) vintage chairs and a “fireplace” in the corner you can get comfortable here for hours. They serve breakfast from 7.am in the morning and are open until late everyday. Great place to come in the morning for a long quiet breakfast and a good read, or in the evening with friends. And yes, you can do your laundry here as well!

LUSH

Monday, January 31st, 2011

The feeling of being in a candy store or a deli shop is remarkable. You can buy your cosmetic in grams and slices looking like honey, cake, and cheese. The only difference is that nothing in the shop is eatable. I must admit that I have seen Lush many times before, both England and Australia, but I have never tried their products. Not until now, and the feeling of being able to slap on a freshly made face mask ( Oat fix) and knowing it was handmade with natural ingredients just a few days ago since is just the kind of product I do want to put on my skin. Have a look  here to find your closest retailer and more about their products.

GOLDEN HALFS OSLO

Saturday, January 15th, 2011

Just developed a film roll from my Golden Half camera. These photos were taken just after we got back to Oslo. I haven’t been to good using this camera lately, but it’s fun developing photos that I had forgotten about! These days seems like a while ago now.
